You may just set to 1 for USER_NUM_ISR_TICKS_PER_CTRL_TICK and USER_NUM_CTRL_TICKS_PER_CURRENT_TICK if the PWM frequency is lower than 15kHz and you didn't add any more codes in the ISR in the example lab project.

If you use the over modulation, it's better to set USER_NUM_ISR_TICKS_PER_CTRL_TICK and USER_NUM_CTRL_TICKS_PER_CURRENT_TICK to 1, and use a lower PWM frequency like <15kHz.
