LAUNCHXL-F28379D: LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Noise in ADC reading (Simulink)

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28379D

I am facing a noise problem when reading the ADC from Matlab Simulink using the F28937D board. I have tried to mitigate the noise by adding capacitors in parallel to the ADC input, but these capacitors cause a phase shift in my AC current reading signals, which is not acceptable. I would like to know if there is any alternative solution to address this noise problem. I appreciate any suggestions or advice. Additionally, if the only viable solution is the use of digital and analog passive filters, I would like this.

Thaks a lot

  • Hello Tania,

Can you please try to collect the ADC results and analyze the error to see if it falls within the specified datasheet values (see section 6.10.1.2 ADC Electrical Data and Timing for your specific ADC configuration, 12-bit or 16-bit)? If not, how much does it vary by?

Please make sure you have also reviewed the errata for this device relating to the ADC:
