Please do us a favor and check with Luke to get details of the issues we faced when such migration was attempted. He tried this migration, and was able to reproduce the failure of migration.

Thanks so much for your detailed response. The SysConfig has already been successfully integrated with TIDM 02008 project by TI, since we were able to use it to step through all the build stages as detailed in the User Guide for this project.

Our issues arise in Part 3 of your instructions, as we begin to attempt to migrate across devices.

We have been able to replicate all of the steps (a. through f.) but attempting to save the new project with the migrated device does not create new Header or C files. The related messages show several CLA-related errors, and the "Generated Files" tab does not display a PinMux mapping for the new device. We have previously given a comprehensive review (with screenshots) of these errors to Luke and Ozino, and can forward that review to you as well.

Are there additional steps we need to take to generate a PinMux file and resolve these CLA errors?

As you had mentioned earlier, if Luke is back next week, may be the TI team can get together and come up with the steps to resolve this critical issue of migration from 280049 to other similar devices for the various projects, starting with TIDM 02008.
