TMS320F28388D: ST1 is not correctly pushed onto Stack

Do you mean the stack memory is in TEST mode ? Which memory is this and does it works fine if you do not put stack memory in TEST mode ?

This is strange. Can you try setting it to 0xAAAA and 0x5555 ?

Hi Vivek,

The memory is M1, it is in the linker script configured as stack.

I can set it to 0xAAAA and 0x5555, under the above mentioned setup.

Another quick test:

programm stops at the break point as shown in 1st picture.

set M1 to function mode, at that SP address the value can be changed to 0x8A18.

And switch the M1 to TEST mode, it can not be set to 0x8A19. It can also not be set to 0x8A20, the memory view shows 0x8A60. But it can be set back to 0x8A18.

And now it can not be set to neither 0xAAAA nor 0x5555 via debugger, the memory view shows 0x2AAA and 0xD555.
