Tool/software:

Hi, Dear TI Engineer & Everyone.

  • Microcontroller: TMS320F28374S
  • Development Environment: CCS v12
  • Debug Probe: XDS110 USB
  • Problem: When using CLA in TMS320F28374S, the Debug Probe is online and the results are correct, but Abnormal result when removing the Debug Probe! Why?????

The project information is described as follows:

1.CMD configuration

2.Library files

3,CLA initialization Code

4,TestCode

5.Verification

The XDS200 is online,The result is correct,The following image

but, After removing XDS110 and powering it back on, the result was incorrect。The following image

notes:
The yellow waveform represents the angle. Due to the use of PWM output, the digital filtering cutoff frequency of the digital oscilloscope cannot be set very low, and the waveform is somewhat imprecise. The green channel corresponds to the sine value of the angle!

  • Hello,

This is likely an issue with the linker cmd file. Could you provide a brief summary of any changes you made to the linker cmd file and why? It is generally not recommended to change this file unless absolutely necessary. Since you are wanting to use the CLA math library, I would recommend using one of the linker cmd files used in the library examples in C2000ware for the F2837x if you are not already doing so.

Please view this similar thread linked here as well.

    Best Regards,
