Hi Team,
When use Flash to EEPROM, and use one sector to as EEPROM, do we need to erase the whole sector when update data?
I know if want to write a data on Flash sector, we need erase this sector before write. If this sector is used as EEPROM and I want to update a date(16bit), it don't need erase this sector and can achieve only erase a word and write a word?
Best Regards,
Zane
Hi Zane,
Yes, because the emulated EEPROM is in flash memory, the requirement to erase the sector before writing is still in effect.
Kind regards,
Skyler
