TMS320F28P659DK-Q1: Analog Internal Connections table and Sysconfig mismatch

Part Number: TMS320F28P659DK-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

From the Analog Internal Connections table in the datasheet / TRM some pins have multiple ADC inputs they can be tied to.

However, in sysconfig (1.21.0), selecting A26/A27 as a differential input displays no pin found, but does not throw an error and highlights the Analog pins as in use.

Will this setup correctly use analog pins B2 and B3 (physical pins R3 and P3) as ADC inputs?

You can also have A26/A27 and B2 and B3 selected in sysconfig at the same time without causing an error, is this behavior intended?

Thanks!

  • Hi Jack,

This is a slight error in SysConfig but selecting A26 should still work. The pin name should be B2/A26 and B3/A27 so that you do not see the "No device pin found" message. This will be corrected in the next version of SysConfig.

    Thank you,

    Luke
