Hi,

Am I able to connect UART TX and RX from the MCU to the CTI-20 connector along with the standard 5pin JTAG connection on the XDS110 Debug Probe? Or do I have to use the Auxiliary connector to use UART?

If so, how would I configure that?

Hello Mike,

You'll have to use the Auxiliary Debug Interface. Please refer to the XDS110 Debug Probe Guide for more details on configuration.

Hi Matt, thank you. When I use this connection. Would I be able to use an open-source terminal emulator like PuTTY for example through the debugger? Would I essentially use the COM port of the debugger to communicate in PuTTY?
