I'm working with the TIDM-HV-1PH-DCAC reference design using the C2000Ware Digital Power SDK with the TMDSCNCD28379D control card (I'm running the voltageSourceInverterLCFltr_F2837x example). Followed the instruction given in "Voltage Source Inverter Reference Design" (Revised March 2020) for Build 1 setting, SDFM sensing, 50Hz frequency and 220 V(RMS) output voltage. The output has 100 ohm resistor, and no hardware changes were made.
We have followed the steps outlined in TIDM-HV-1PH-DCAC user guide and initially, boardStatus showed boardStatus_NoFault, variables guiVbus, guili, guiVo and guilo updating periodically with modulation index set to 0.5.
After applying 50V DC, guiVbus initially read 49V but suddenly dropped to zero, boardStatus changed to boardStatus_OverCurrentTrip. Then we switched to ADC based sensing (both switches in SW2 and SW3 were in the right hand side position), guiVbus, guili, guiVo and guilo were fluctuating near zero.
We also tried by changing the control card to TMDSCNC280049C (voltageSourceInverterLCFltr_F28004x example) but result was same.
There was no fault like short circuit in the board.
