TMS320F28075: Question about how to use 3 separate external sync signals.

As I asked before, I would like to drive the PWM individually using 3 separate external sync sources, like below.

My question :

Is it possible to implement it with the above configuration?

Looking at the internal connection diagram between the Simplified ePWM Modules in TRM, it seems that the SyncIn of the ePWM module has already been determined. Therefore, I think that the SyncIn of ePWM9 and 12 cannot be used separately as I thought. Am I right?

If this is right, is there a way to operate the modules from ePWM7 to 12 by receiving three separate external sync signals?

Thanks for you patience. I wanted to first check in and see if you are still having issues implementing this setup? Please let me know if there is any change or other specific issues you are having here. The only external sync sources are the two channels EXTSYNC1 and EXTSYNC2. Are you still having issues with the three external sync sources? Thanks!

But it is not the answer I wanted.

Let me rephrase my question.

Is it possible to have a separate sync source for ePWM9 only, different from ePWM7,8,9?

Hello,

If you want to use different sync signals between EPWM modules, you could look into using the digital compare submodule. You can route signals into this DC submodule via XBARs and use this as a sync source for one EPWM. This is called the DCxEVTy.sync event (e.g. DCAEVT1.sync) which can generate sync pulses. This would only apply to your specific EPWM module (e.g. EPWM9).
