Hi Hung,
Please take a look at this E2E post:
You can also take a look at the TRM for more information.

Hi Ozino
I had read the link provided by you. However, the message is not very clear to explain when EMUSTOP signal will be generated.
In TRM, There is not any explanation for EMUSTOP signal. If you don't mind, please share which section explain it.
Hi Hung Kai,
"EMUSTOP" refers to a signal from the CPU that halts the CPU during debugging. This signal can be used in conjunction with the trip zone submodule of the ePWM to control PWM output behavior when the CPU is halted.
This E2E post provides more information: EMUSTOP Use Cases
You can see section 15.9 Trip-Zone (TZ) Submodule under the EPWM module to see how it used.

Ozino
Hi Ozino
1. TRM 15.9 just shows EMUSHOP trip EPWM only, no any explanation to explain EMUSTOP triggering condition
2.In your previous message, "EMUSTOP" refers to a signal from the CPU that halts the CPU during debugging.". It is my concern. EMUSTOP is generated during CCS debugging is stop. Is it very confused. I can concern that what happen in real case as CPU halted.
Let me loop in the EPWM experts to provide more explanation on this function.
Hi Hung,
EMUSTOP is just an emulation stop via software asm("EMUSTOP0").
Only is applicable when a debugger is connected.
Best,
Ryan Ma
