Based on the related question, my customer verified the operation of HRPWM with LAUNCHXL-F28379D and the customer board (TMS320F28376DPTPT).
For EVM, the MEP Scale Factor result is "64," while for customer board, it is "33."

What are the factors that may affect the MEP Scale Factor result?
We have confirmed that the temperature and input voltage listed on the TRM are equivalent to the evaluation board.

We will check the difference between the EVM and the customer board, so please let us know the possible factors.

Hello,

Please refer to the Table 15-14. Relationship Between MEP Steps, PWM Frequency, and Resolution in device TRM: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruhm8k/spruhm8k.pdf.

Table 15-14 shows the typical range of operating frequencies supported by the HRPWM. Also make sure to enable Auto-Conversion Mode. This mode is used in conjunction with the scale factor optimization (SFO) software only. The scale factor optimization software calculates the MEP scale factor in the background code and automatically updates the HRMSTEP register with the calculated number of MEP steps per coarse step

Thank you for your reply.

I checked the MEP Scale factor with and without auto conversion, but it remained at 34 and did not change.

Are there any other possible causes?

・system(TBCLK) =100MHz
・PWM cycle =20kHz

This issue has been resolved.
Upon customer verification, it appears the EVM and development board had different clock frequencies.

When the clock frequency was set to the same value, equivalent resolution was achieved.
