TMS320F28377D: Missing CAU Event if CMPA = 0 and CMP shadow to active upon CTR=0

Part Number: TMS320F28377D

Tool/software:

Hi Experts,

When using the the ePWM there is a requirement of CMPA>1 when CMPA is loaded at CTR=0

Other wise, the CAU event may be missed.

However, according to the related thread, Cody says:

"On newer devices like F2807x( anything Type 1,2,3,4) the shadow load occurs before CMPA is compared to TBCTR. This is closed with design and will always happen."

This means if the shadow load happens at CTR=0, and it loads CMPA as 0, then the CTR=CMPA (=0) event will still happen. This conflicts with the description in the TRM.

Do we still have this limit on newer devices (ePWM type >0)

Regards,
