TMS320F28032: the CMD symbol cannot be recognized in Linux environment

Hi Expert

My customer need to develop the project in Linux, so they downloaded the Linux CCS, but the compiler reports the issue below, there are several variables in CMD cannot be found

but this project can be compiled properly in windows environment.

Could you please help to check what's the differences between the window and Linux system CCS, and how to fix the issue?

Hi Joe,

I assume CMD refers to the Windows command line interpreter, which would explain why it would fail on Linux.

The question is where is it being called? I don't see any reference to it the screenshot you posted.

My apologies. I got confused. For some reason I was thinking of the "CMD" Windows command line interpreter. You were referring to the linker cmd file.

I will bring this thread to the compiler experts for further analysis.

My first guess is that the section ramboot is empty. Please attach the linker map file. So the forum will accept it, add the file extension .txt to it.

The symbol names must be exactly the same in all files, or it won't work. I see different spellings for _RambootLoadStart.
