Hi TI Team,

 

We are following up on our previous threads regarding the F29 Mass Production (MP) constraints.

To enable the required HSM features, the device must transition to the HS-SE state using the TI OTP Keywriter, runtime TIFS and host utilities.

The current challenge is that this HSM activation procedure is strictly tied to a UART Boot Mode start.

However, our customer's MP flow requires the device to remain locked in Flash Boot Mode.

We urgently need TI to provide an update or alternative support for the activation flow that supports devices booting from Locked Flash Boot Mode.

This issue is blocking the customer's security deployment in production.

    Hi Cesc,

    Thank you for reaching out and providing background on the situation. I will send you a private message with information about our Cybershield Toolkit release. Its in a preliminary release so we are not sharing publicly at the moment but it does support JTAG based provisioning flow.
