Hi, TI experts,

I am making .ccxml file connecting 3 TMS320F280034 CPUs with daisy chain connection.

I just added two TMS320F280034 CPUs to ccxml file setting with 1 TMS320F280034 CPU.

But, when I perform "Start Project-less Debug", I get an error.

Default JTAG setting works well with 1 TMS320F280034 CPU.

It seems that some modification is needed but my all trials failed.

Are there some cautions when I make .ccxml file with daisy-chain connection?

My environments are belows.

CCS : v20.3.0.14__1.9.0

C2000ware : v5.4.0.00

JTAG connector : XDS200 series

Hello,

Every node needs to have a unique name. In your configuration, the issue is that the names of the IcePick and Subpath routers have the same names for all three devices. The CPUs (C28xx, CLA, etc) look fine.

Also note that for daisy-chain debug, there is a known issue with hardware breakpoints. Please see: https://sir.ext.ti.com/jira/browse/EXT_EP-10378

Hi, Ki.

After I use different names for IcePick and Subpath routers, I could proceed.

In order to recognize each CPUs easily, I also changed the names of each sub items.

But when I changed first JLM names, the connection is not made.

Except that, it seems that everything works well.

This is interesting. The original name of the first JLM must be left alone but the subsequent ones for the other devices are fine. Thank you for sharing this information.
