Hi,

 

I designed a converter that has a TMS320F28P650DK MCU and I am pulling out JTAG (TDI, TDO, TMS,TCK) signals out of the MCU to the XDS110 Debug Probe. Do I need to assign anything in SysConfig or the code in order to communicate and connect to the XDS110 Debug Probe? How will the MCU know to communicate to the XDS110 Debug Probe?

    Mike,

    If you are using the XDS110 to load programs onto the F28P65x MCU, then you only need to set up a target configuration or use one-click debug in Code Composer Studio.

    This Quick Start Guide located at C:/ti/c2000/C2000Ware_5_05_00_00/device_support/f28p65x/docs/Example_Projects_Quickstart_Guide.pdf in your C2000Ware Installation describes this process.
