LAUNCHXL-F28P65X: OverCurrent fault when starting motor with encoder

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28P65X

Hi,

my DRV-board can handle 9V-95V DC. To achive the max speed i need to supply with 48V.

When my encoder pins are not connected on J12, there is no problem with starting and identifying.

However, when i install the enocoder pins on J12, sometimes i get an overcurrent error. The probability for this error is about 70% when trying multiple times. When reducing the supply voltage to ~30V I won´t get any error when starting.

My overcurrent threshhold is set to 28,5A which is very high compared to the normal current when running the motor. I use The LaunchXL-28P65X Board.
