TMS320F28377D: CLB cannot drive the output

i am trying to using CLB output port to drive a GPIO port, the CLB output port always stucks at zero.

c2000.rar this is the SYSCFG file, only CLB and related peripherals are set. when i invert the signal at output xbar, this can change the level at the GPIO, but i cannot change the CLB's output port through output LUT, the CLB's clock is up, any suggestions? or supply a SYSCFG setting that can work.

i wanna check the CLB output LUT through the register view, but i cannot find the CLB registers. does it mean i need to read the CLB registers manually?

Hi,

It looks to me that you are not inverting the signal within LUT0. If you would like to do so you would need to use the Boolean expression "!" before "i0".

Furthermore, in your output LUT 4, you are only passing in a "1" which means that the signal will always be high coming out of that LUT. If you would like for the signal to reflect input 0 (which in this case is the LUT0 output) please put "i0" within the output logic equation box.

Lastly, I would like to point you towards our CLB users guide as it gives an in depth look at how the tool works. Additionally, it describes how to use the CLB simulation tool which is a great way to check your CLB configurations without having to use hardware.

it is said that TMS320F28377D did not support CLB, but the DRIVERLIB package did have CLB demo for 28377D, can you fix this?

the doc number is SPRS880P and the C2000ware version is 6_00_01. does this mean that 28377D support CLB, but i can not use CLB to drive a port

no, i never succeeded in running the CLB examples on the F28377D device, maybe i could try some other examples

Hi,

This is correct, you shouldn't be able to run CLB examples on the F28377D device as the datasheet you previously showed is correct. The examples within the driverlib of C2000ware version 6_00_01 are labeled under F2837xD but only run on the 9D and 8D versions of the device.
