Hi,

CCS is not approved to be used @ customer Today.

Customer wants to use VSCode instead or as bridging tool for TMS320F28P65.

Can we enable custromer with VSCode?

Hi Marcus,

CCS version 20.xxx is VSCode based. Current version of CCS is 20.4xxx. Older versions are Eclispe based. Do you know which CCS version the customer is referring to that they are not approved to use?

Hi Joseph,

it's CCS in general.

Customer questions is: can we enable the tool VSCode itself?

Other TI MCU's like MSP are fully enabled in VSCode including OCD, ....

Can you comment if VSCode is possible for C2K?

Hi Marcus,

I think you are referring to the Visual Studio marketplace (TI Embedded Development For VS Code - Visual Studio Marketplace). Looks like it is only the ARM Cortex has debug support and not yet for C28x.
