C2000-GANG (the legacy programmer and SW) should support F2800157. However, it is not listed in the "MCU list" section of www.elprotronic.com/.../ti-c2000

The software should be requested from Elprotronic I believe (let me check with them).

F280015x is also supported by C-GANG.

If you go to https://www.elprotronic.com/pages/ti-c2000 and look at "Buy", you'll see C-GANG-X listed in two flavors. The cheaper one has a Programming quota of 500 (number of times you can program a target).
