Hi everyone,
I'm a student at an university of Grenoble - France and i actually make an internship on a F28M35x (F28M35H52C1) microcontroller ; i'm teaching use it with the workshop associated, and i'm arriving at the Lab 4-2 where we capteur an ePWM waveform with ADC.
...But to inspect ADC samples, we need to use a connector wire to connect 2 pins which is normally provided but i haven't got it !
So is it normal ? How can we compensate that ? i thought an iron cable or something like that to connect the pins considered, but i'm afraid to destroy the components with that.
Can you help me about that please ?
Hi Sebastein,
Even I didn't receive any connecting wires but I prepared it myself. You can surely use single female berg sticks connected to a wire.
Regards,
Gautam
Hi Gautam,
Firstly, thanks to your answer.
I haven't got berg sticks at hand, but i have a cable with a "female end-piece" ( i don't know how we say, so i put a photo to you just below int attachment ).
So do you think i can use it for join these two pins ? ( if another one has a solution, i listen this person ! )
Regards,
Sébastien.
Hi Sebastien,
These would do fine.... Carry on with your experiments :)
Regards,
Gautam
Sorry for the stupid question.I don't remember the signification of each color of the wires; do you remember me please ?
Sébastien,
Step 25 of the Lab 4 instruction requires only that the connection between GPIO-00 and ADC-A0 pins is made. I'm not sure I understand why the wire colour is significant?
By the way, in future we will be adding jumper wires to the F28M35x kits so user's don't have to procure their own.
Best regards,
Richard
Hi Richard,
Firstly thanks for your answer.
I don't know why i asked this stupid question, sorry.
Regards,
Sébastien.
Hi Sébastien,
As Richard mentioned, colors are irrelevant and proper connections are at top priority. As for the ADC you've to be careful as its sensitive to noises.
Regards,
Gautam
Hi Gautam,
Thanks for your answer ; yes just few minuts after i post it i realize we "don't mind" the color on this type of cable.
AND thanks for your attention, that's was a pleasure.
Best Regards,
Sébastien.
