F28M35H52C1 - Flash program

Hi ,

Recently i bought Concerto chip version “F28M35H52C1RFPT YFB-34C9VCW G4” from Texas.

Previously I have a problem of downloading my code into FLASH. That problem was fixed by replacing .xml file from Texas.

Now i can able to program into FLASH. Just now i checked that download my LED toggling code into my CPU FLASH. I switch OFF my CPU and again i switch ON the Device. That time my LED is not toggling.

It is like program into RAM.

I was wonder that i cant able to Store my Program permanently.

Hi igor,

I checked everything. Everything was present. I can able to program into FLASH. But power off will erase everything.

I think you can check the flash content with JTAG after programming.

Could you please tell me, How to see the FLASH contents With JTAG.

Connect Concerto with JTAG, in CCS, View-> Memory Browser, input the flash address that you have programed, you will get its content.

BTW, Are you using TI F021 Flash API to program the flash? you can find it from the TI website.

HI,

I found something.

I have two CPU. Two out of one CPU is externally pulled up for Boot from FLASH. That is working fine even after power off. But in my other CPU boot pin used as GPIO. Is it possible to set the Software which is boot from Flash in my software program. So i have to set the Boot from FLASH in my software.
