Code Coverage for 28069 and 28034

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

is there no longer code coverage in the CCS for the the 28069 and 28034?  Please advise if there are other options.

  • Hello,

I am not sure what you mean about code coverage in CCS.

But if you mean is example codes for 28069 and 28034, you can find it in controlSuite.

This can be downloaded from http://www.ti.com/tool/controlsuite.

    Best regards,

    Maria

  • Hi Paul,

    What do you mean by:

is there no longer code coverage in the CCS for the the 28069 and 28034?

As Maria has mentioned, all the resources for the same are available in controlSuite else you can check their respective ti pages to download "C/C++ headers and peripheral files." zipped together.

  • Code Composer 5.3 had an option to do code coverage as part of the profiling menu option, but it did not work. After searching online, I found that Code Composer did not support the Piccolo family of processors.

If Code Composer supported the Piccolo processors, this would give me another option for generating code coverage statistics when we do testing. Do you know if TI plans to support code coverage for the Piccolo processors?

  • Yup, Paul. very true, it does not support Piccolo mcus. It only supports C6000 and C55x simulators. I don't think this feature would be included anytime soon for piccolo. You can atleast use the Profile Clock feature for cpu cycles count.
