Hi,
I am trying to get a xds100 emulator on a docking station with a f28335 controlcard
recognised by ccs v4.
If I create a new target connection in ccs v4 there is no xds100 emulator listing
in the pull down list that lets me select the target.
The xds100 shows up in that windoze XP thingie when I plug it in to an USB port.
(I am not running windoze at this moment so I can't look at the program name)
The help->about menu shows 4.0.0.12 as the ccs v4 version. It did some auto
update to 4.0.4 earlier today but I get an error message about not being able
to delete a file and then the software hangs, I have to kill it then.
The only thing I can think of at this moment is to remove and reinstall ccs v4.
Any other suggestions you can think of ?
I would appreciate it a lot.

Hello Roelof
I had the same problem with the XDS100v2.
Remove v4 CCS delte the folder "C: \ Program Files \ Tesxas Instruments' use a software to clean the windows registry.
Reinstall the 4 CCS "http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/ccstudio.html"

Heino,
Thank you for responding.
I proceded with the complete removal of ccs v4 including anything related I could
find in the registry. Then downloaded the latest version (a whopping 954MB !) and
did a fresh install. It is working now with a xds100 v1 controlcard motherboard :-)
