Connection xds100 USB Debug Probe same as xds100 USB Emulator?

After watching some hoe to start cideos and read the setup gide I wonder if the connection "XDS100v1 USB Debug Probe" is the same as "XDS100v1 USB Emulator". Becase in all instructions it says: use the "...USB Emulator" to connect, but in my CCSv6 there is only the "...Debug Probe" otion.

I'm using CCS for the first time and try to run some code on my f28335 developmentbord. Now I try to figure out what might cause all the Erros I get.

    Yes both are same.
