Hello,
i've got a problem with my TMDSCNCD28377D Dev Tool. According to Errata TMDSCNCD28377D-Infosheet_v1_5.pdf:
2.1.4: I have to change Resistors on my Board to use the USB Host/Device functionality. Because it was corrected only after R1.1: Do I destroy my Board if i use the USB-Connector J8 to connect the Board to my Notebook though?
[I had no chance to buy the new version although it was released month ago...]
Hi Phillipp,
Most likely your board has not been damaged. However I would expect that its lifetime may have been somewhat compromised and that it may not hold up well to rigorous temperature testing (especially as is).
I would recommend changing out the resistors on your side when you are able and would definitely recommend following the infosheet guideline when designing your own board.
Thank you,
Brett
