Three Phase BLDC Motor Kit with DRV8312 and InstaSPIN-Enabled Piccolo TMS320F28069M MCU , Can this give me index(like a absolute encoder), how accurate this is?

We want to get this kit , we need this so we can run a 3 phase motor at a constant speed, and know when the motor passes home(a absolute position).So my question is

1. Can this act like a absolute encoder.

2.How accurate is this, all i read so far is it's accurate, is there a number on how accurate this is on telling me a home position.

3.Do i get a signal from the cpu or the driver, every time the motor passes a certain location(home)
