How to use eCAP Pins to read encoders?

Dear All,

I am trying to read an encoder using an eCAP pin of TI C28069 board in MATLAB/Simulink environment. I tried using interrupts and turned "post interrupt on capture event" option on. But the value of the interrupt seems to be stuck at 1 once 'rising edge' detected. Is there a way for me to access to interrupt registers to set it back to 0 in Simulink.

I would suggest you to try out Matlab forums for Simulink based doubts and queries. This forum majorly helps a member to resolve queries based on pure CCS based coding techniques.

Hi,

Our motor control example is the best example for eCAP block usage:

Specifically look at c28069pmsmfoc_ert.slx, which is an F28069 model which uses the eCAP block to read hall sensor values.

We are clearing the Interrupt clear register ECCLR from the interrupt service routine for eCAP.
