xigbee connection with c2000

I want to connect xigbee s2 module to my c2000 controller. From which pin should I connect xigbee to c2000??...Also I am taking the supply from the PC, so cant connect through USB port.....I am making the code using simulink so i have used SCI transmit block.

Which communication protocol does this Xigbee module support? UART, SPI or I2C?

So if you go for a C2000 Launchpad ie F28027 based, you can use SCI peripheral to do UART communication. Sample codes for the same are available in controlSuite. Have you already selected the C2000 controller?

Yes, I am using the c2000 launchpad....just want to know where is scirxd and scitxd pin???....it's given in j1 but with the mux value 1....how to change the mux value?

Mux values are in datasheet. If you refer the example code:
C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f2802x\v129\DSP2802x_examples_ccsv4\sci_echoback
all the configurations are available.

I think the simulink block of sci transmit automatically selects the mux value and configure the pins accordingly.... Will check it once...thanks

I am connecting the power supply through pc. So still is it possible to to transmit data to xigbee using SCIA pin?

Yes why not, just that Xigbee should be powered by PC too or make their grounds equal if you're powering Xigbee through a different power supply.
