ControlSuite installation problem

Hi Chris,

i tried the methods described in the link you sent me and none of them work.

the method i used was the offline installer.

this installation is taking too long, it seems to be stuck in

any common sense approach on how to install this correctly?

I'm sorry to hear it is taking so long. The offline installer is the best approach to avoid running into errors. ControlSUITE is a large package and installation can take some time depending on the PC.

I am unable to view the images you are posting. Regarding the controlSUITE GUI, make sure you tried the ".metadata" folder deletion approach, this has been very successful in most instances.

I also had two errors. what do they mean? could not access network

A controlSUITE GUI workspace corruption cause hasn't gotten an identified cause, but if it happens again, just repeat the metadata procedure.

Those are files associated with the web installer, since it downloads each component in its own package. Your connection to the download server likely timed out or had some sort of interruption. Those are avoided with the offline installer.

As Chris indicates... its very random. Simply follow the same steps whenever required. I personally don't use the GUI. I prefer navigating through the controlSuite folder.
