  • Hello,

Have you scoped the supply rails of the F28234 during power up to make sure there is not an overstress occurring on the device? Also have you scoped the external clock to see if the clock is starting? What is the state of the XRSn pin when the device is not working?

    Best Regards,

  • Thanks Adam for quick reply. Supply is fine . I will check both Clock and XRSn pin.
Every time if you we give the hard reset it works fine. What can be the reason. can you just elaborate the things which u have noted........

  • what do you mean by overstress occurring on device?
  • By over-stress I mean supply voltages could be reaching magnitudes higher than the device can handle before it gets damaged or goes into an unknown/locked state where it needs to be power cycled before working again.

Does this happen to all boards? Are boot pins set properly?
