Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28377S, C2000WARE
Hi, I am trying to setup the SPI communication going to the connector J5 J6 on the Launchpad XL-F28377S. The connectors are wired to the spiB port of the microcontroller and GPIO63 to GPIO66 for high speed spi mode. For an unknown reason, after the first transaction, the SCLK pin (J5 pin 47) keeps sending short pulses at a random frequency after the end fo the transaction. As seen below. These pulses create problems when multiple transaction occurs because they create a glitch within the next SPI frame on the SCLK signal.
With the same settings for the SPI and GPIO I have no problem to get the SPIA port working on connector J1 and J2 as seen below.
In fact I have been using the SPIa port for a while, but in my new project I would use two booster pack connected in both spots available on the LAUNCHXL.
I also added below the register configuration that I am able to see in CCS from the debugger and they are the same
From the schematic of the LAUNCHXL-F28377S, the SCLKB pin is GPIO65 which is also connected to a bidirectional level shifter going to an unconnected header on the LAUNCPAD-XL.
The same behavior was observed on two different LAUNCHPAD-XL_F28377S. Does anyone know how to fix it?
