LAUNCHXL-F28069M: Analog signal read on ADC

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28069M

Hi,

I am getiing yellow signal from my source which of 3V peak to peak. I want to read it on ADCINA0(pin 27). The range that ADC measures is 0-3V. Do ADC has internal voltage level shifter fro AC signal? or do I have to use external Op-Amp for level shifting from -1.5V to +1.5V   to   0-3V?

or is there any simple way for this signal to measure ?

Thank you.

  • Hi,

Generally, its 0-3.3V such that negative half of sine ranges from 0-1.65V and positive half from 1.65 to 3.3V. Hence you'll have to shift the signal up using op-amp circuitry.
