    What version are you installing? The latest (v3.4.9)? Are you running the Linux version of the installer? If you give me more info, I'll see if I can reproduce the issue.

    It looks like it's just the scheduling of the updater task that's failing. If you hit Ignore does it let you finish the installation? The updater task just lets you know when updates are available, so it's not crucial to using controlSUITE. For now you can sign up for update alerts on the controlSUITE website instead.

    it is finished. But, I could not find controlSUITE3.4.9 starting method.

    I have DRV8301-HC-EVM ver.D board which was working.
    This board was explained by CCS 4.2 program which does not work on Win10, neither Ubuntu.
    Does this work with the DRV8301-HC-C2-KIT programs?
    Is there any manuals for this board with CCS 8.0?

    Okay, I wouldn't really expect a task scheduler for Windows to work on a Linux machine. Like I said, you can sign up for update alerts on the download page.

    It's a known issue that the controlSUITE.exe won't work with Wine. It's not strictly necessary though. As long as the project files and documentation have installed alright, you should be able to use the controlSUITE content through CCS. Can you go to the installation directory and make sure the files are there? Can you try importing a project into CCS?

    CCSv4 and CCSv8 are both Eclipse based so while things may look a little different, they should be close enough that you should be able to navigate it okay. Let me know if you have any questions though.

    This is my basic question and why I tried to install on Linux install.

    I use controlSUITE on a Windows 10 machine. Did it not work when you tried it?

    You can use controlSUITE examples with CCSv8 on both Linux and Windows.

    controlSUITE will provide you with basic software examples on how to use your C2000 device's peripherals and provide you with header files to interact with all of the memory mapped registers. If you look in controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV830x-HC-C2-KIT_v105 you'll see examples specifically intended to run on the kit you're using too.
