Hi,
I need help about flashing from the EVM to a TMDSPLCKITV4-CEN service node, which does not have an RS232 port to do it directly and does not establish a connection via an intermediate GUI.
Try flashing the PLC SOM in G3 configuration and the concentrator starts, I wanted to try it by PRIME and it tells me that the PLC SOM was pre-flashed. What should I do to solve both problems?
Regards,
Hi Mateo,
You can't do a flash and start of a Prime DC preflashed with G3.
You would first need to flash the SOM using CCS , uniflash or such tools with the prime binary for LMAC .
Once done any further reflashes can be some using this above method ..
The SDK with the hex binaries can be found in the link below.
Regards.
Hi MEGHANA,
Thanks for the quick reply,
At the moment G3 will work, the EVM is supposedly available to receive data, but at the time of connecting the service node it never connected. I follow the steps as shown in the manual, I do not know what problem the node can have, the EVM appears as "Network started successfully" in the same way seeing the firmware load says NO_EEPROM. I hope you can help me.
hi Mateo ,
Can you use the script PLC_setup.sh in the PLC folder to start the DC rather than directly running the exe?
The DC needs to be started with certain options.
This error comes when the DC is not sending a Beacon response to the request sent by the SN.
This would ideally mean the DC hasn't started correctly.
Please refer to the DC user guide provided in the SDK package.
Regards.
hi MEGHANA
We are using the F28PLC83 SOM
The SN firmware version is 7.2.1.10
The firmware version in the DC is 7.0.1.0
when i turn on the DC, open the teraterm and run the PLC_setup.sh in G3
