F28M35H52C: TZCLRM Register Description

Part Number: F28M35H52C

Hi everyone

I see Michael He has already asked this question, but no one answered.

What is the purpose of TZCLRM register in ePWM of Concerto F28M35H52C1? Is TZCLR register shadowed and TZCLRM shows it's active state?

  • Disona,
I don't have a good reason why you would want to mirror TZCLR. To the best of my knowledge TZCLRM does not shadow TZCLR, it is a true mirror.

    TZCLR writes take effect immediately.

If you would like me to ask around and try to provide you with a reason why this is mirrored I can, but there may not be a good reason.

    Cody
  • Thanks, Cody

I guess it's enogh to know that TZCLR takes effect immediately, no need to ask anything else. I just was a little confused - all other mirrored registers of ePWM module have nice descriptions, but this one has no description at all.
  • Disona,

I agree that this leaves something to be desired, I will submit a bug on this issues so that it can be resolved at a later date.

    Thanks for the information.

    Regards,
    Cody
