Hi,

I want to implement the USB examples given for TMS320F28375S from C2000Ware. Do i need to install any driver for that??

Hi Digvijay,

Windows drivers are located within c2000ware at the following directory:

C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_1_00_06_00\utilities\windows_drivers

Hi ,
I tried the drivers. According to procedure i had to signing the drivers. I tried following the procedure given in signing.txt file. But i am getting
the error as
failed to save to destination store.
certmerg failed

I have tried solutions from internet but not working.
Can you help me with this error?

Can i use the existing testcerificate (given with C2000ware) for updating the driver software??

Hi Digvijay,

I didn't think C2000ware came with a test cert. What directory did you find this in?

I believe you're supposed to generate your own test certificate per the instructions: /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/171/signing.txt

Respected sir,

I have attached snap of certificate and directory path. Please verify if it is right certificate or wrong certificate?? If it is right certificate how do i proceed to interface USB with PC.

Hi,
I want to implement usb_dev_serial_cpu01 example on my custom board. Can i use UART0 of custom board for echoing data from USB virtual serial port??

Hi,

I just got my custom board. I tried to connect USB port of custom board to PC, but there is nothing happening . No pop up is coming after connection USB. Nothing in the device manager. I have given my D+ and D- of port directly to the D+(pin 131) and D-(pin 130) of controller. My USBVCC is kept open and ground has been connected to the ground of PCB. There are no resistors or capacitors used in the USB circuit.

Are my connections correct??

Do i need to program the controller first and then connect to PC??

If you have any reference schematic design ( link) for USB please share??

Hi Digvijay,

Were your USB D+ and D- signals routed as Differential Pairs (90 ohm impedance)?

You can reference the USB schematic of the F28379D Control Card within c2000ware. USB-ID is connected for USB OTG.

The pins used for USB must be configured first before being used for USB function, since they are GPIOs as default.. Please see the USB section of the TRM for more information. See section 22.2.2 "Signal Description" and onward.

If i can use the the certificate mentioned above, how to install drivers??

We do not provide the certificate. We do not release certificates in C2000Ware.

You will need to configure your custom board properly for USB communication. You can use the USB bootloader to test if it is working properly. THe USB boot loader will configure the USB internally for communication and will be able to be detected by a host if your connections and schematic are correct.

Also, our drivers are signed to support Windows 32-bit and 64-bit.

TI does not provide certificate. So the certificate in the below snap is the certificate generated by me(accidentaly as i dont know when it got generated).

So can I use the certificate in the below snap??
