TMS320F280049: F280049 Launchpad cannot connect in CCS

Hi team,

I know we had a problem supporting F280049 launchpad.

I used to follow this guide and recovered several launchapads.

However, I cannot use this method to connect my launchpad recently.

For example:

As the picture shows, I have already downloaded the right hardware 2.3.0.15.

But the connect error still happens.

Could you please help to identify the problem?

Not sure if this will help, but there was earlier discussion about connecting via XDS110 on Launchpad:

Hi Todd,

This does help! But I am still wondering why I used to be able to connect the launchpad even I did not do this.

Hi Weiqi,

There was a CCS update recently that updated the xds110 drivers. As part of that update, the image on the xds110/TM4C MCU was changed.

That image wasn't compatible with cJTAG mode. This may help explain some of the comments with the thread that Todd linked.
