how to use two gpio pins in coding. One gpio is for input and other for output. I am using Delfino controller (TMS320F28379D)

Did you get a chance to look at the examples available in C2000ware?
GPIO example can be found under <C2000Ware>\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\gpio

Hi,

I gone through the examples. But if i define the output GPIO pin in coding, I am getting warning after building the code. Suggest me some solution to solve the issue.

If possible can you suggest one example by using two GPIO pins in same code.

Hi Krishnan,

The example I mentioned in the previous post configures multiple GPIO pins. It configures few pins in output mode.
Did you get warnings for that example? Can you provide us more details on the warnings.

Hi Veena,

This is the warning that i am getting after defining the second GPIO pin in the coding.

"#48-D incompatible redefinition of macro "GPIO" (declared at line 7)"

Can you clarify this !!

Hi,

You would have probably added the GPIO macro definition in 2 different places. Please remove the redundant one.

I am not getting, macros part still I have an issue with that. Whether the macros should be defined to both the GPIO's?

It will be helpful if you can send me one simple code by using two GPIO's, by config one as input and other as output.

In that above mentioned example all the GPIO pins are mentioned and i am not getting that . I have a code and i will mention that so you can go through that.

I could compile the file you have attached with no warnings.

Do you have any other changes made in the project? Could you please do a search for "GPIO" in your project to see if there are any redefinitions?

In this project GPIO0 is configured as an input and GPIO1 is configured as an output.

Hi Krishnan,

Do you have C2000Ware or ControlSuite?

C2000Ware path is C:\ti\C2000Ware_X_XX_XX_XX\device_support\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\lpm_idlewake\cpu01

ControlSuite path is C\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\F2837xD\v210\F2837xD_examples_Cpu1\lpm_idlewake\cpu01

Anyway i was referring to the following code:

GPIO_SetupPinMux(0,GPIO_MUX_CPU1,0);
