Hi,

in datasheet page 17,

pin 31 is described as C3, CMP4_HP1, CMP4_HN1, CMP4_LP1, COMP4_LN1, AIO245.

in datasheet page 18,

pin 31 is describes as PGA4_IN, CMP4_HP2, CMP4_LP2.

And in page 98 we have the table below.

My understanding is: pin 31 is both ADC-C3 input, AIO245, and PGA4_IN, these 3 functions take effect at the same time without muxing, right?

And if I choose HPMXSEL=1, CMP4_HP will be connected to CMP4_HP1, which is pin 31,

if I choose HPMXSEL=2, CMP4_HP will be connected to CMP4_HP2, which is still pin 31, right?

And if I choose HPMXSEL=2 and HNMXSEL=1, both CMP4_HP and CMP4_HN will be connected to pin 31, right?

Hi Howard,

1. The analog pins with AIO functionality can be used in either analog mode or digital mode configurable through the GPHAMSEL register. The GPHAMSEL connects/disconnects the digital side. The analog side is always connected.
2. C3 and PGA4_IN take effect at the same time with muxing for AIO245.
3. Yes, HPMXSEL=1 and HPMXSEL=2 will both connect to pin 31.
4. Yes, HPMXSEL=2 and HNMXSEL=1 will also both connect to pin 31.
