TMS320F28069: f28069_flash_kernel : Why does the kernel erases only A,B,C and D sectors only and not whole flash?

This is because not all 06x devices have all the flash sectors available in 069. If you are using the other flash sectors, then you should erase those before performing a firmware update and programming them.
