I have designed a board using TMS320F28335 DSP, I want to program it for the first time. How should i start and what precaution si should take? I have XDS100V2 JTAG programmer.

Hi Deepak,

Have you already performed some form of board bring-up (checking voltage levels and other PCB checks)? Assuming you have and everything looks OK, do you have a 14-pin JTAG header on your board for connecting the XDS100V2 probe? similar to the below:

You should be able to connect your PC and the F28335 device using your probe and this header. See module 2 of the c2000 workshop below for using Code Composer Studio (CCS) to connect to and program your device:
