Which GUI are you trying? DRV8312GUI? Are you using an XDS100v2 emulator?

It sounds like you were able to successfully flash and run the application in CCS, so the compiler and CCS versions probably don't matter to the GUI beyond that.

Hi,

I am using DRV8312GUIv5 and yes i am using XDS100v2 emulator. Yes, the project is running in CCS 9.1.0, but still I cannot connect to GUI and control the motor.

Thanks for the additional info. What do you see when you run the GUI's connection wizard? If you look at your computer's device manager, can you see your board connected?

Hi,

Yes, the board is connected in ports (COM & LPT) USB port(COM 9). I did everything in the instruction manual. In the GUI it says 'Make sure the engine is connected and is ready to receive the connection request.(Connect target failed).

When I try to connect manually, even then it says unable to connect to target.

Can you try the sci_echoback example for the F2803x to make sure that a connection can be established? If that works it'll help give us confidence that the hardware is good and the switches are in the right position.

Thank you for your response. I tried to run sci_echoback example for F2803x, but I wasn't able to run it properly. I am going to try running it on a different laptop and get back to you in few days.
