I am confused please clear me, about use of db9 cable. do i need to connect db9 cable or can i use usb cable already connect with pc to demonstrate sci echoback. thank you.

You can directly use the usb cable connected to pc.

Thank you i got this. i am running sci loop back example but i am seeing nothing but some symbol. I think it maybe baud rate problem. do you know the baud rate for sci loop back?

Hi,

It is mentioned in the same example. Baud rate is 9600.

//! Bits per second = 9600
//! - Date Bits = 8
//! - Parity = None
//! - Stop Bits = 1
//! - Hardware Control = None

Please follow the instructions at the same original thread if you see any issues

i tried as you mentioned. I am working on so hard but i is not going to work. i don't know maybe it has some problem with encoding. I still didn't get it. please if you know please help me. Thank you.

Hi,

Did you modify the GPIO configurations to 42/43 and added _LAUNCHXL-F28379D predefined symbol in project?

Please confirm.

Could you please share your "Example_2837xDSci_Echoback.c" file?
