Hi,
I wanna use one of the CMPINxP pins to monitor the overvoltage event. and CMPINxN Will be controlled by internal DAC. Regarding this, I have a few doubts.

Hi Vishal,
Responses inline.
CMPSS DAC's are dedicated and not one of 3 DAC on the Device.
Yes, this is correct. The CMPSS dacs are different from the buffered dacs.
If CMPINxN is driven by internal DAC then, Can I use that CMPINxN pin for other ADC read Functionality or do I need to leave that pin floating?
Yes, you can use CMPINxN for ADC reads. Whether or not the negative input of the comparator is driven by the internal COMPDAC does not affect the functionality of CMPINxN.
I am doing a voltage read on the "ADCINC2 / CMPIN6P" pin. Now if I wanna use continues voltage reading as well as this Overvoltage monitoring using Comparator, is it possible to do it on this single pin or I need to connect the same signal to a dedicated CMP pin?
Yes, this is also fine. ADC and comparator functionality on a single pin can be used simultaneously.

Vishal,
Don't worry about it. Let us know if you have anymore questions.
Hi Frank,
For the ADC Reference voltage (3.0V), I am using REF3130. and its output I have connected directly to all 4 ADC's of the MCU.
But, I notice that, In the launchpad of the MCU, there is a REF5030IDGKT regulator followed by 2 voltage followers and their output has a 0.1ohm resistor in series with 22uF capacitor? Do I really need those voltage followers?

Vishal,
For best performance, each reference pin should have it's own buffer. However, two reference pins can share one buffer. Sharing buffers will incur a small performance hit. It's not recommended to connect the reference circuit output directly to the reference pins. At the very least, use one buffer which is high bandwidth and low output impedance.
BTW, since this is not a CMPSS question, if you have follow questions on the ADC, please create a separate thread for this and it will be assigned to the right subject matter expert for the ADC.
