Hi Chris,Hi All,
My motor drive customer is an early adapter of CLB tool since July 2019 and would like to know whether there is any update on the CLB of 28076.
At the moment, customer is missing the repetition / emulation part of the encoder signals.
If I remember correctly, before the end of the year the libraries for the CLB that manage this part should be available, correct? Do you know anything about it?
Then again customer would like to know anything with regards to the sources of the CLB libraries.
As you know, it would be very convenient for customer to have them, to better adapt them to customer needs.
If there is any news could you please share with me?
Many Thanks,
Antonio
Hi Antonio,
Regarding the encoder solution, it's currently available (for t-format) in the MotorControlSDK released in Nov19.
This is no more a pre-compiled library and all the source code for implementation is available on SDK.
C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_2_01_00_00\libraries\position_sensing\tformat
C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_2_01_00_00\solutions\boostxl_posmgr\f2837xd\ccs\tformat
Customer can use this and make any changes to software, pin-assignment or any other aspects.
Also, there is IDDK integrated project for tformat at
C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_2_01_00_00\solutions\tmdxiddk379d\f2837x\ccs
No release date has been set for rest of the protocols yet - current estimate is to be released in 1Q20.
In general, with the release of the tool, there will not be any library based approach moving forward, allowing customers to develop on their own.
