OK, I found a solution to my problem.  I replaced the Launchpad F28069M with a PMD DK78113 DevKit from Precision Motion Devices and my motor was spinning in less than 1 hour.  I am able to tune all of the parameters for the velocity and current loops and see the results in real time on the PC screen.  I did not need to spend hours downloading software and printing 400 page Quick Start Guides as all of the documentation came in bound manuals or on a USB drive with the devkit.  No header files to modify, no apps to compile, rename and relocate; the GUI allows you to do all that.  When I had questions, their on-staff FAE connected to my PC via TeamViewer and was able to walk me through the learning curve and discuss strategies for getting the most out of my motor application.  Highly recommended.

    Glad you found a solution for the problem you previously posted about. 

    Just to explain for posterity, our LaunchPad + InstaSPIN-FOC solution is intended for engineers who want to MAKE a product like what you found with PMD.  If an engineer just wants to USE a product like what you found with PMD there are plenty of those options available (and luckily many use TI C2000 MCUs).
