Hello,
I'd like to ask whether there is possibility to replace (on the KIT) DRV8312 driver and put another but with FETs outside, so that I can drive higher currents.
I have a FOC program generated from Simulink for the F28035 and just want NOT to change the software.
The only problem I forsee are the RESET lines. Are they necessery?
If I change the driver to DRV8320HRTV then I have to leave reset lines floating (and as I believe I'm loosing the protection)
Or maybe DRV8320 does not require additional protection as it has built-in protections and RESET signals would be redundant in that case?
I'm not asking about physical constraints as I'm going to design my own board.
