TIDM-1000: TIDM-1000: Compatible ControlCARDs

I have a TIDM-1000 board on the way, but I do not have a TMDSCNCD28379D ControlCARD, since they're out of stock locally.

I do have an F28M36x ControlCARD R1.1 on hand, but this isn't a part with a CLA, so I doubt it can be useful.

Are there any other supported ControlCARDs with the TIDM-1000 that I can check for local stock? For example, the TMDSCNCD280049C with a Piccolo F280049C is available. If that is possible, are there any limitations or considerations that would make it worthwhile to also get a TMDSCNCD28379D card?

If you have already downloaded digital power SDK, you could refer to the TIDM-1000 folder which has three sub-folders in it which are f28004x, f2837x and f2838x. These are the devices we support for this reference design.

To answer your question, F280049C is fine. From the design feature point of view, there is no big difference between f28004x and f2837x. F2838x has an ethernet controlled example.

Hi Chen,

Very helpful! I'll probably get started with the TMDSCNCD280049C and maybe move up to TMDSCNCD28388D when it's back in stock for network support as needed. Do you have any idea how long that might be?
